Jamboree
Requirements
Youth
Members
Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts must be at least First
Class Scouts.
They must have completed the sixth grade or be at least 12 years of age
by July 1, 2005, but not have reached their 18th birthday by August 3,
2005.
All Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts must participate in a pre-jamboree
training experience;
file a complete Personal Health and Medical Record prior to the
pre-jamboree training;
have been active in a troop or team for at least six months prior to
July 1, 2005;
and be approved by the unit leader and local council.

Adult
Leadership
Scoutmaster and First Assistant
Scoutmaster
Have served as a Scoutmaster for at least one year during the
three-year period prior to July 1, 2005;
have completed basic Scoutmaster training;
participate in a prejamboree training experience;
file a personal health and medical record prior to the
prejamboree training;
be approved by the local council. (Although not required, Wood
Badge and/or Scoutmaster's Key is a desirable qualification.)
The Scoutmaster must be able to serve as a role model of physical
fitness.
Second Assistant Scoutmaster
At least 21 years of age by July 1, 2005,
have served actively in an adult troop leadership position for at
least one year during the three-year period prior to July 1,
2005;
participate in a prejamboree training experience;
file a personal health and medical record prior to the
prejamboree training; be approved by the local council.
Third Assistant Scoutmaster
At least 18 years of age (but not have reached 21) by August 3,
2005;
have served actively in a Scout troop leadership position;
participate in a prejamboree training experience;
file a personal health and medical record prior to the prejamboree
training;
be approved by the local council.
Adult leader applications will be available from the council office.
